Educators

Scholars Tech educators create and sustain programs and services that promote positive 

learning by fostering the unique potential of children.  The education we provide the 

children in our care is based on developmental theories and child-centered methodologies 

that would help the kids socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. 

All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, 

and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, 

classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, 

field trip planning, OSHA regulations, games and arts and crafts provides the staff with 

skills needed to create a quality learning environment. Scholars Tech lead teachers are all 

certified educators. The assistant teachers are strongly encouraged to further their 

education through CDA and college programs if they are not already certified. All 

educators are given opportunities and professional development plans to obtain such 

credentials, further their education, and attend professional training conferences. 

Our teachers and staff respect the developmental stages of each individual child. We 

understand that each child possesses a dynamic continuum of development.  Our 

commitment to quality care reassures parents each day that children are special at 

Scholars Tech. On-going training, educational conferences, workshops, and videos keep 

our educators up to date with current research and educational requirements. We 

encourage and support all staff to reach for the stars in their educational and personal 

goals.
