3 YEAR OLDS
Scholars Tech preschool program's goal is to prepare your child to successfully enter
kindergarten in two years, and to become a successful lifetime learner. Throughout the
three-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses early preschool, preschool and then
pre-kindergarten, your child will acquire a full range of developmental skills necessary to
successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.
Our implementation of our curriculum is comprised of weekly plans that support and
extend monthly themes is filled with activities designed to meet the needs of all learners.
Daily group times and enrichments are designed to expand a child’s vocabulary and
knowledge of the world around them. Multiple activities support the theme and learning
center additions which are included in each lesson. Scholars Tech also enriches its
curriculum through music, which is professionally written and recorded to reinforce
concepts. In addition to the core curriculum, supplemental units are provided on a
quarterly basis. Weekly lesson plans are posted to keep parents informed about their
child’s learning experience at Scholars Tech.

Some of the activities through which learning takes place are: Stories - both listened to
and created, Music - songs, rhythms, instruments, and body movements, Exploring and
creating using many different art forms, play through active participation and interaction,
riding and climbing on developmentally appropriate equipment in the playroom, Skills -
cutting, pasting, block building, skipping, hopping, jumping, playing games, Visual aids -
creating a rich background for readiness for reading, Number concepts - understanding
numerals from 1 to 50, Science - study of plant and animal life in the world around us,
and field trip adventures and development of large muscle coordination on the
playground equipment.
Early Preschool teachers choose from over 100 learning activities tied to specific learning
objectives. Teachers choose from these learning activities based on which of the
objectives your child needs more focus on. In covering the learning objectives your child
will be involved in activities that promote Language & Communication Development,
Cognitive Development, Creativity and the Arts, Physical Development, and Personal &
Social Development.
